Home Made Crafts & Treats

NEW! Our Home & Hobby exhibition and Creative Youth exhibition have now combined in a celebration of homemade goods.

Ever since county fairs began, a blue ribbon for the best cake or the prettiest quilt was a shining achievement. Home Made is the competitive exhibit where cooks,  crafters and collectors can shine!

Divisions in this competition include canned fruits and vegetables, dried foods, jams, jellies, soft spreads, pickles, relishes, sauces, and liqueurs.

This is the place for delicious cakes, candy, cookies, gluten-free baking, special needs baking, breads, decorated cakes (not to be consumed) and edible structures.

Crafts you make with a needle and thread or fabric, such as crocheting, hand and machine knitting, lacemaking, embroidery, cross-stitch, sewing, weaving, felting and quilting.

Includes basketry & gourds, beading, ceramics, dolls & stuffed toys, holiday decorations, hand-painted china, tole & decorative painting, polymer clay and miscellaneous crafts.

The food divisions of Home & Hobby are open to those 18 and older. You must be 21 or older to enter the liqueur division.

The entry fee is $10 per entry. Entry fees are non-refundable, however in the event of competition cancellation, entry fees will be applied to the following year or refunded.

Two entries per class, but you may enter as many classes as you like.
